Terms of Service.

1. Agreement

By creating an account or using Yggdrawsil (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service. The Service is operated by Pamplemoose Games LLC, a Wisconsin limited liability company doing business as Yggdrawsil (“we,” “us,” “our”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

2. What Yggdrawsil Is

Yggdrawsil is a collaborative community art canvas. Registered users purchase tiles on a shared hand-drawn world tree and fill those tiles with their own artwork. The tree and every tile on it are public by design.

3. Your Account

You must provide a valid email address and keep your sign-in method secure. You are responsible for activity on your account. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are between 13 and 18, you must have the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian, and only a parent or legal guardian may make purchases on your behalf. Only one account per person.

4. Tile Packs and Purchases

Tile packs are sold as one-time purchases through Stripe. Prices and pack sizes are shown on the site at the time of purchase. All fees are in U.S. dollars.

Refunds. Tile packs and individual tile purchases are non-refundable once a tile has been claimed or art has been placed, except where required by law or at our discretion. If you have not yet claimed a tile from a pack, contact us within 14 days of purchase and we will work with you in good faith.

What you are buying. A tile purchase gives you the right to place art in that tile slot on the Yggdrawsil canvas, subject to these Terms. You are not buying a transferable digital asset, an NFT, or any form of equity or revenue share in Yggdrawsil. Tiles are not resellable by users.

Availability. We may change which tile packs are offered and at what price. Changes will not affect tiles you have already purchased.

5. Content Rules

You are responsible for everything you post. You agree not to post content that is:

• Illegal, infringing, defamatory, or harassing
• Sexually explicit, graphically violent, or targeted at minors in a sexual way
• Hate speech or content that attacks a protected class
• Spam, advertising, or malware
• Impersonating another person or organization without permission
• Generated by AI. Yggdrawsil is a human art project. If a machine made it, it does not go on the tree. By submitting a piece of art, you represent that you drew it yourself (assisted tools such as brushes, pressure, and symmetry aids are fine; generative AI is not).

Moderation. We may remove any content that violates these rules, at our discretion, with or without notice. Repeated or serious violations may result in account suspension or termination without refund.

6. Your Content License to Us

You retain ownership of the artwork and any captions you submit to Yggdrawsil (“Your Content”).

By submitting Your Content, you grant Pamplemoose Games LLC a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, and irrevocable license to host, display, reproduce, and distribute Your Content as part of the Yggdrawsil canvas and in reasonable marketing and promotional materials about Yggdrawsil (for example, social media posts, press coverage, and screenshots of the tree showing your tile in context).

The license is perpetual and irrevocable with respect to the canvas itself because the canvas is collaborative and other tiles depend on yours. If you want a specific piece of your own art removed from the tree, email us at hello@pamplemoose.co and we will work with you in good faith, subject to the canvas-integrity note in Section 10.

You may continue to use your own artwork outside of Yggdrawsil however you wish. We make no claim on art you create outside of this Service.

7. Our Intellectual Property

The Yggdrawsil name, the hand-drawn world tree illustration, the anchor compositions, the brand, the site design, and all software comprising the Service (excluding user tile art) are owned by Pamplemoose Games LLC or licensed for our use. You may not copy, reproduce, or create derivative works from any of it without our prior written permission. This includes the tree illustration itself.

Content placed in other users’ tiles belongs to those users. Do not reproduce another user’s tile art outside of Yggdrawsil without that user’s permission.

8. Intellectual Property Complaints (DMCA)

If you believe content on Yggdrawsil infringes a copyright you own or control, please email a notice to hello@pamplemoose.co that includes:

• A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or an authorized representative
• Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed
• The URL or tile location of the allegedly infringing content
• Your name, address, telephone number, and email address
• A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
• A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner’s behalf

We will respond to properly submitted notices and may remove or disable access to the material. We may also terminate accounts of users who repeatedly infringe.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape at scale, or disrupt the Service
• Probe for or exploit vulnerabilities
• Use the Service to harass, threaten, or target other users
• Resell tiles or attempt to create a secondary market in tile slots
• Misrepresent yourself or circumvent account or purchase limits

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

10. Termination and the Canvas

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms or for risk to the Service or other users.

Canvas-integrity note. Yggdrawsil is a permanent collaborative work. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal information and stop associating your name with your tile, but your art may remain on the tree because neighboring tiles depend on it. If you want a specific piece of your own art removed, email us and we will work with you in good faith. If content violates our rules or the law, we will remove it.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of data loss.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pamplemoose Games LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, including lost content, lost revenue, or lost opportunities. Our total liability to you for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or US$100 if you paid nothing.

13. Indemnification

You agree to defend and indemnify Pamplemoose Games LLC against any claim arising out of Your Content (including claims that it infringes another person’s rights) or your violation of these Terms, including reasonable attorneys’ fees.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes we will notify you by email or through the Service at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the updated Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Wisconsin, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.
