1. Who We Are

Yggdrawsil is operated by Pamplemoose Games LLC, a Wisconsin limited liability company doing business as Yggdrawsil (“we,” “us,” “our”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use yggdrawsil.comand related services (the “Service”).

2. What Yggdrawsil Is

Yggdrawsil is a collaborative community art canvas. Registered users purchase tiles on a shared hand-drawn world tree and fill those tiles with their own artwork. Art posted to the tree is public by design. That is the product.

3. Information We Collect

Account information. When you sign up we collect your email address. Yggdrawsil uses magic-link authentication, so we do not store a traditional password.

Purchase information. When you buy a tile pack, Stripe handles the payment. We store your Stripe customer ID, the tile pack purchased, and the tile(s) you claim with that purchase. We never see or store your card number.

Content you create. We store the artwork and any titles, captions, or flavor text you submit to the canvas.

Technical information. Our hosting and edge providers automatically log standard request information such as IP address, user agent, timestamp, and requested URL. This is used to operate the Service, prevent abuse, and understand aggregate usage.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Operate the Service (render the canvas, serve the editor, deliver tiles you purchased)
• Send transactional email (account confirmation, magic link, purchase receipts)
• Process your tile purchases
• Moderate and, where necessary, remove content that violates our rules
• Prevent abuse and enforce our acceptable-use rules
• Communicate service updates or changes to these policies

We do not sell your information. We do not run third-party advertising on Yggdrawsil.

5. Public Content

Artwork you draw on the tree and any captions or flavor text you attach are public. They are displayed to anyone who visits yggdrawsil.com, and may also be shown in marketing, press coverage, and social media about Yggdrawsil. Do not post anything on the tree that you are not comfortable being seen by anyone, anywhere, permanently.

Your email address and purchase history are not public. Your display name, if you provide one, may appear with your tile.

6. Third-Party Services

We use the following providers to operate Yggdrawsil:

• Supabase for database and authentication (AWS us-east-1).
• Stripefor payment processing. See Stripe’s privacy policy at stripe.com/privacy.
• Resend for transactional email.
• Vercel for hosting and serverless infrastructure.
• Cloudflare for DNS, CDN, and basic edge security.

Each of these providers processes data only as needed to deliver their service to us.

7. Data Retention

We retain your account and content for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal information within 30 days.

Special note about art already placed on the tree. Yggdrawsil is a permanent collaborative canvas. Once your art is placed in a tile, other tiles and the overall artwork of the tree depend on it. If you delete your account, we may keep your placed art on the tree, displayed without your name attached, unless the art itself violates our rules or applicable law. Delete your account with this in mind. If you want a specific piece of your own art removed from the tree, email us at hello@pamplemoose.co and we will work with you in good faith.

Transactional and billing records that we are legally required to keep are retained for the period required by law.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate information
• Delete your account (subject to the tile-art note above)
• Export a copy of art you have created

To exercise any of these rights, email hello@pamplemoose.co. We respond within 30 days.

9. Security

We use industry-standard security practices, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), magic-link authentication, and row-level security on our database so that users can only access their own account data. No system is perfectly secure. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately.

10. Children's Privacy

Yggdrawsil is not directed at children under 13. If you are between 13 and 18, you may only use the Service with the consent and under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian, and only a parent or legal guardian may make purchases. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, email us and we will delete it.

11. International Users

Yggdrawsil is operated from the United States and hosted on U.S.-based infrastructure. If you use the Service from outside the U.S., you understand that your information is processed in the U.S. and subject to U.S. law.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. For material changes we will notify you by email or via the Service before the changes take effect. The effective date above reflects the most recent update.
